Arts On Tour NZ is a community focused agency with a high level of professional expertise. We are the pre-eminent touring agency to rural and remoter centres of New Zealand.

Arts On Tour NZ provides access for audiences in the communities of all three islands (including Stewart Island) through the delivery of an annual Menu of quality professional performing arts opportunities.

Creative New Zealand encourages, promotes and supports the arts in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders through funding, capability building, our international programme and advocacy.

NZ MUSIC COMMISSION: Outward Sound

Outward Sound has been set up to provide assistance for market development initiatives and to encourage the entry of New Zealand music and musicians into global markets. New Zealand music industry practitioners (artists, managers etc) and firms (record companies, associated businesses) can apply for assistance through the international music market development grants program.

Outward Sound is implemented and managed by the New Zealand Music Commission. The programme is inclusive of music from all genres and styles, and applicants may target relevant markets around the world. Bands, composers, songwriters, producers, companies and solo artists can apply for Outward Sound support. Applicants at different stages of international market development can access the investment programme.

NZ ON AIR: Making Tracks

NZ On Air is a government broadcast funding agency. We fund local content for broadcast outcomes. The definition of broadcast for our funding programmes covers traditional radio and television broadcast, and more recently ‘transmission on demand’ through digital platforms has been added to our brief.
